It’s always interesting to look into the life of somebody famous and to recognize that they had struggles, just like the rest of us. That is true of one famous man who was born in Brooklyn, and was known for his troublemaking ways as a young child.
Mickey Rooney will always be remembered for the entertainment he brought to America and the world. He had a love for the limelight and was always looking for a way to get into the spotlight even from a young age.
We can imagine Mickey Rooney as a very young child, trying to entertain a crowd and giving all of his energy in order to do so. This all got started in Vaudeville, but eventually, he would hone his talents and start singing, dancing, and joking with the best of them.
Eventually, Rooney found his way onto the big screen and it was there that he really became well known to many. He had such a sparkle about him that it was difficult not to feel as if he was entertaining you directly.
It was at MGM Studios where Rooney really found his place. Some of the stars that he worked with helped to propel his career, including Judy Garland. He would dance and sing in movies and leave an impression that left people wanting more.
