By our 5th year of marriage, my husband started mocking me for not doing enough housework. Don’t even get me started: I’m not unemployed, I earn more than him! He likes to throw things around, leaving chaos in the kitchen and just lying down on the couch. Worse, our son started copying him! I told my husband to hire a cleaner, and he snapped, “NO! THAT’S YOUR JOB!” Can you imagine?
Last Saturday, after dinner, my son said, “Clean this up and wash it,” I lost it.
Me: “How dare you!? Apologize and clean up after yourself!”
Son: “No, it’s YOUR job.”
Me: “I won’t lift a finger until you apologize!”
Son: “Fine, Dad said that if you don’t do it, we’ll…” he paused.
