Barron spent the entire day with his family on Monday, January 20, the day his father, Donald Trump, took the oath of office as the 47th president.
Naturally, the 18-year-old had to go back to school shortly after Barron’s enrollment in college last year.
Since Barron is the son of a two-term president, it is difficult to escape being compared to his father. His extraordinary height has typically been the first thing people notice about him in recent years, but on inauguration day, rumors have focused on something different.
It’s common knowledge that Donald Trump has long used bronzer of some kind to give his face its recognizable orange hue. After the inauguration, the startling question now is whether Barron has begun to follow suit.
Barron has extensive White House experience. During his father’s first tenure as president, the now-18-year-old son of Donald and Melania Trump resided at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with his parents. However, things have changed since then.
Barron, who was kept completely out of the public eye after leaving the White House, has enrolled at New York University’s Stern Business School and will not be residing in the White House this time. However, Melania has declared that her son is welcome in Washington at all times.
“Obviously he’ll have a bedroom there, but he’s an adult, he’s in college now. I think he will come and visit, yes,” Melania told Fox, adding that she’d love it if he’d bring friends.
“Yeah, whatever he would like to do, yes. I feel that as children, we have them till they are 18, 19 years old. We teach them, we guide them, and then we give them the wings to fly. And I always respect Barron’s yes and no, and what he likes to do, where he would like to be.”
Since leaving the White House, Barron has benefited from Secret Service security, and while attending NYU, the 18-year-old will still be surrounded by agents. Although it didn’t say how, the federal law enforcement agency had previously stated that Barron would be protected.
Barron Trump “already has his own political ideas,” says source
He will continue living at Trump Tower, and Melania herself has confirmed that she will be spending time in New York with her son. Several sources tell People Magazine that Melania “will do everything she can” to support Barron’s well-being and help him get good grades. Meanwhile, the 18-year-old will not get the “full college experience” by living in a dorm.
“Living in a dorm in a college town isn’t in the stars for him at this point,” a source told People. “Barron already has his own political ideas. It all needs to be monitored in light of the situation.”
The news site was informed by another source that Barron’s best option right now is to live at home.
“Whether or not others think he is capable of being on his own, Melania feels it’s better to be around him as much as possible,” that source said. “I see that continuing.”
Supporting Barron during his early years at NYU is not the only reason Melania and Barron are close. His father’s return to the White House as President of the United States has contributed, according to two other people who spoke to People Magazine.
“Melania worries about the hate in the country and how it falls on her son, who is innocent of any of this,” the source said. “She is and has been a good sounding board for him. They talk about life as it is and how they are in the spotlight,” the source adds. “She tries to normalize his life. If that is even possible.”
Barron Trump praised by his father Donald on Inauguration Day
Barron had to skip any courses he might have had on Monday, but he had a very good reason for doing so. Barron attended both the inauguration and the festivities at Nationwide Arena later that day, where his father was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
Donald Trump thanked his son for helping him win the election in his speech to his supporters. The crowd cheered enthusiastically when the president asked if they had heard about his “tall son.”
“He knew the youth vote. You know we won the youth vote by 36 points,” Trump said. “He was saying, ’dad, I got to go out and to this and that one and we did a lot of them. He respects them all, he understood it very well. He said ’dad, you got to go out and do Joe Rogan, all these guys that we did. They were all great, right? Barron, they were all great.”
The exchange between Joe Biden and Barron Trump went viral online, with some people taking great pleasure in the encounter’s relative mystery. When Biden engaged with Barron, he smiled, but after they exchanged a few words, his smile turned to a more serious one. People all throughout the world were eager to hear what the president’s son had to say on social media. Additionally, Barron received accolades on the internet for his greetings of Kamala Harris and Biden.
“I was very impressed by that gesture and from someone so young. To go across the aisle and shake their hands was a very classy and mature thing to do. Good for Barron,” one person wrote.
Body language expert says Barron Trump showed off “super-confidence”
Another added: “Such a good young man… That gesture just tells you everything. Well done, Melania.”
As per the Daily Mail, on TikTok, the video of Barron and Joe had been viewed over half a million times as of Wednesday. One person joked: “Looks like he said, ‘You’re done.’”
Judi James, a communications coach and body language expert, offered an alternative idea in an interview with the Daily Mail. Barron bowed “very confidently” and “charmingly” to shake hands with Biden, she explained.
“And although Biden’s face seems to fall as though Barron has passed on some kind of sinister threat or message, the truth was less dramatic as Barron seemed to be leaning to greet Kamala and Biden’s face was registering the fact that he’d finished his greeting ritual with Trump’s son,” James said.
She went on to say that people have misinterpreted what Donald’s son could have said to Biden because of Barron’s humor and so-called “super-confidence.”
“When he was introduced by his father, he stood like a rock star acknowledging the cheers and chants of his name and even cupped his ear to increase them. Which is probably why people might assume (wrongly I’d say) that he’s possibly making barbed comments on his way out here,” James continued.
Did Barron Trump have a ‘fake tan’ during the inauguration?
In addition, James clarified that Barron was “working as a sweeper” at the inauguration, a function he regularly assumes while accompanying his father to any function.
James went on to say that “defines” Barron’s presence and status without having to compete with his father. “This means he tends to arrive and leave behind his parents, but instead of just walking off behind them as he did when he was younger, he spends time shaking hands and offering gracious-looking words,” James said.
“He lets everyone know that he is becoming a force to be reckoned with in his own right and because of his height and the increase in his confidence signals, it gives him a rather princely air, presence-wise. Biden had been on the receiving end of a flamethrower speech from Trump, where he had sat in a variety of poses, including pained deflation and bravado smiling as his entire four years in office were scorched to ashes.”
As previously said, Barron is incredibly tall, and after his attendance at events, people frequently discuss his height. He was observed talking to a lot of individuals during the inauguration, but one aspect of his appearance is rumored to have perplexed others. Barron had a new “healthy glow,” according to Express US, and the Mirror even said he had a “bronze” tan, just like his dad.
Why Donald Trump is wearing bronzer
Barron’s bronze cheekbones and sparkling forehead, which many likened to Donald’s, were seen during Monday’s church service at St. John’s Episcopal Church. For years, there have been reports about Donald Trump’s orange face. The present president didn’t wear bronzer when he was younger; therefore, his complexion was whiter.
Why, therefore, did Donald initially begin wearing bronzer? Safia Cox, a famous makeup artist, told the Mirror that it might have something to do with his confidence.
“I think he uses some sort of fake tan or tinted moisturizer with a bronzer. I 100% do not think it’s sun beds as it would be a completely different tone,” Cox said.
“I think it’s some sort of fake tan or some sort of tinted moisturizer with bronzer, and he’s then used powder with it. It’s definitely some sort of cream product that he uses and has probably mattified it after because it’s so orange. You can see the rim around his face. If you look closely at his hairline, it’s very pale, and that’s not from sunbeds; he’s slapping some sort of cream product on.”
“He has orange blindness”
Cox surmised that Trump has “some sort of tinted moisturizer with bronzer or some sort of fake tan,” which he applies with powder. Next, she explained, you can see that it’s “very pale” along his hairline.
“I think his makeup has changed over the years, and I think it as he’s got older and potentially a little more insecure. The ever-changing orange hue has become the subject of many internet discussions and memes – with people wondering why he likes to be so orange,” Cox continued, concluding that some have argued that Trump uses more bronzer when stressed.
“He has orange blindness or fake tan blindness, and I don’t think he realizes,” the makeup expert told the Mirror. “It’s not a nice bronze, he doesn’t look like he’s just hopped off a plane he just looks like he’s layered on fake tan. It’s bizarre; he’s either really insecure, and it’s for confidence and thinking he looks good, or he’s being clever and doing it to get people to talk about him.”
